Kate Dowd obtained her Bachelors in Fine Arts with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2005.  She is a sculptor with expertise in kilnformed art glass, performance art, and metalwork.  She has exhibited at the Warhol Museum, Seeing Double: 10 Encounters with Warhol; The Shore Institute of Contemporary Art, SCULPTOURE, Fourth Juried Exhibition, Fifth Juried Exhibition, and City Without Walls, ArtReach. Ms. Dowd Currently is the lead kilnforming instructor at GlassRoots, Inc., Newark, NJ and specializes in working with at-risk youth. She is also a member of the In-Cahoots artist exchange.

Michal Sparks is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and a concentration in textiles and the fiber arts.  Ms. Sparks formed her own company, Indigo Gate, Inc. in 1992 and currently works through her company as a licensed artist in the gift and home industries, including wall covering collections and tabletop design.  She is the illustrator of over 48 published titles and the author if 15 of these.  Ms. Sparks also exhibits her personal oil paintings locally and has pieces in private collections throughout the US and Europe.  She continues to design for Indigo Gate, Inc and for Indigo Gate Green, an off-shoot of her parent company which specializes in recycled, environmentally healthy designs and products.  Please visit her boutique's website https://sea-n-green.com/
